24 hours in Pisa and my first EDT… (of many) 🇮🇹 ✈️
Just wow. I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am that I found this group.
I would never have thought of doing trips in this way, but I am utterly hooked!
Pisa was incredibly beautiful. Very much do-able in less than 24 hours but I wanted to go and enjoy some Italian cuisine and sort of just take my time…
Flights were £33 return: Stansted - Pisa 11:45am (landing just before 3pm local time) Return: Pisa - Stansted 10:25am
I shared a hotel with my friend and spilt the total at just over £20 each.
We paid to go inside the Duomo and Cathedral €7 each….
In total I spent £60 or so, that included taxis to and from airport - fresh Pizza for lunch, a delicious truffle pasta dinner with a bottle of red wine, the biggest and freshest croissant for breakfast today and several insanely delicious Italian machiatto’s.
In honesty, I wouldn’t spend this much on the average EDT and I could of saved myself a whole lot, but I wanted to my first experience to be a bit more relaxed and somewhat luxury in terms of food and time… you would be super comfortable for a day in Pisa with £30 easily!
I have 7 more trips booked so far between now and May - there is no stopping me!!! ✈️
