Venice with kids!!!

EasyJet from Gatwick 7.15 depart 22.10 return £124 for two adults and a 10 year old and 12 year old

Got the bus from directly outside arrivals 18€ return took 20minutes

Gondola rides are set price which is different from the last time I came 90€ for 30minutes

It's one boys birthday today and the other Wednesday and quite frankly has to be done in Venice!

We stumbled across a ice rink which they loved and cost 10€ each

We got lost in the side streets and let them run!

We had a slot booked at t fondaco Rooftop Terrace which is free and right by Rialto bridge, you do need to pre book a slot and get 15minutes up there.

We went to St Mark's Square and walked along the grand canal.
We ate on the move pizza, pasta, crepes whatever they fancied really.

One of them has sensory issues with food and we managed to find him fries and he enjoyed gelato.

We stopped in supermarkets for drinks which worked out much cheaper.

Toilets!!!!! In the department store with the roof terrace there is a free one. The public toilets are 1.50 a go! And you needed cash. There were assistants who would change it.

We ate in a restaurant at the end of the day 3 proper meals, fries and a big water was 48€ and we were all stuffed!

The husband said EDT are hard work lol but had fun and the boys are planning a list of where they want to go next!!!

Also, snacks! Pack them and buy more in Venice for the return journey the airport is naff lol

Oh and today was one of the carnival days so lots of people dressed up, a made Gondola race going on and we saw a clown show in Italian!
