Day trip to Riga, Latvia
Flew out this morning from Stansted at 6:25am and our flight back is at 10:25pm. Straight into Riga on the bus (€1.50 and it took 25 minutes).
We went to St Peter’s Church to go up to the viewing platform which cost €9. We then headed over to the Museum of Occupation which was amazing (History is my life so slightly bias) and then the former KGB headquarters (the Corner House). We walked through lots of parks, saw some impressive buildings and watched the sunset from the sky bar
Total cost of the trip including flights, parking, food and drink for the whole day and activities was less than £100
