Alicante for the day with my friend. BHX: 6.00am flight out. 9.10pm flight back. £53 return. Landed at 9.25am and went straight to Alicante central market. As a foodie this was FANTASTIC. Definitely recommend if you love food! There are little tapas stalls and bars inside the market to stop for a cheeky empanada or beer as you mooch around Then to Benidorm. Beer in the sun overlooking to beach, a paddle in the sea and catching a few rays it was 21 degrees all day and beautiful. Back to Alicante and got the lift up to the top of the castle. Only €2.70 and stunning up there!! Wander down Mushroom Street and purchase of my second EDT bracelet for my 12 in 12 month memory bracelets (seen in pic with bracelet 1 from Chamonix) Delicious dinner: prawns, anchovy toast, incredible four cheese and quail egg pizza type creation. Sorry I can’t comment on transport as we were lucky enough to have a Spanish friend collect us from the airport and spend the day with us being our amazing chauffeur!! Totally recommend the trip. Had a wonderful clear 9 hours in Spain
